The house provides Supported Living accommodation for adults with learning disabilities. The team provide 24-hour support including sleep-in support. All support is tailored around the individual, with the team adapting their skills and training to meet each person’s needs and goals.
This terraced house supports up to five people on a residential road in Stockwell. It has two floors with a lounge, kitchen and dining area. There is a small patio garden at the back of the house which includes a small patch for growing vegetables and flowers.
The communal areas on the ground floor include:
- A cosy lounge
- A kitchen with a dining table
- An accessible wet room
There is one bedroom on the ground floor and a wet room with a shower and toilet. There is also a staff sleep-in room/office on the ground floor.
The first floor has four additional bedrooms and a bathroom.
There is also a laundry room on the first floor.

The house has a warm and sociable atmosphere and people who live here like to socialise together but also like having the privacy of their own rooms too.
There is a real family-feel as many of the people have lived together for a long time.
The people we support all have a love of music, arts and crafts, cooking and they all enjoy parties, particularly club nights at The Octopus Club.
Someone recently purchased a telescope, and astronomy has since become a keen interest for everyone. Staff promote independence and support people to access local amenities and activities.
The team are skilled in non-verbal communication and have experience of various health conditions, including postural care, dysphagia, and dementia. They also share their interests in music, baking, and dance with the people they support.
Many of the team speak other languages such as Yoruba (an African language) and Spanish enabling them to communicate with people we support in their first language.
Local Area
Stockwell tube station on the Victoria line is a 10-minute walk from Grantham Road, and there is also a good network of buses taking you to Clapham, Brixton, Elephant and Castle, and Streatham.
The house is not far from Clapham High Street where people can go shopping and enjoy a range of cafes and restaurants.
