“It was an experience!”

Emily talks about her holiday and travelling on a train.

Last September, we supported Emily to feel confident about traveling by train so that she could go on holiday to Butlins in Bognor Regis. Whilst Emily had been on a plane in the previous year to visit Paris, this would be her first time on a train for 25 years!

Emily talked about how much she enjoyed being on holiday together with supporter Sophia, and couldn’t wait to tell us about the things she enjoyed on her trip:

“It took an hour and some minutes on the train. It was an experience!

I went bowling and I played on the arcade machines. I won actually - £2 and two sweets! I also went Go Karting and I did pony riding, went on some other fairground rides and watched films and went to see a show.

I got a lot of shopping and came back with souvenirs - some drinking cups and soaps. but I didn’t go to the beach because it was raining.”
