About Us

Our Campaigns

Alongside the people we support and partner organisations we campaign to ensure that people’s voices are included and heard in national policies and decision making. We campaign on issues that affect the future of social care and the opportunities available for people to live equal and inclusive lives within our communities.

Think you know Social Care?

At Certitude we’re challenging the stereotypes about social care with our new short film told by those who know it best – the people we support and our colleagues.

We know that social care isn't just about day-to-day support – it's about living life to the fullest!

We are More Than A Provider - Policy Proposals for the Future of Social care

Certitude is partnering with five other support providers to call for a change in social care. Together, we are known as More Than a Provider.

Working together, we aim to influence those in power to make good decisions about issues that affect people drawing on and working in social care.

Cost of Living for Disabled People

Certitude signs joint letter to the Chancellor on the Cost of Living for Disabled People. The letter, which was sent to Rt Hon Jeremy Hunt MP ahead of the Autumn statement, calls for support for disabled households “in recognition that disabled people have been disproportionately affected by the cost of living”

Human Rights Day Joint Letter

In a letter, coordinated by the British Institute of Human Rights (BIHR), we have joined together to call for

“a world in which our political leaders commit to our universal protections, not simply those it finds acceptable”

Calls for Better Eye Care

Certitude are among over 80 organisations and individuals who support SeeAbility’s Joint Letter to the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care and Chief Executive of NHS England calling for better eye care for people with learning disabilities.
