Who We Are
We have made great strides to become a provider, employer, and strategic partner of choice over the past three years.
Being Local builds on this success and outlines our plans for the next three years, focusing on three big ambitions:
This is our strategic roadmap, driven by our mission to support people to develop new skills, meet new people, and live the life they want – so they can bring their own unique brilliance to the world.
We will continue to enhance our support to people and their families while strengthening relationships with key commissioners and partners to find the best solutions to meet the current social care funding pressures. We will build on the significant transformation work already in progress which will help us to operate in ways that best deliver the most value.
Our locality model will ensure that in every borough where we work, people and their families are at the heart of decisions, and our local teams have the skills, tools, and resources to focus on what we do best – supporting people to live a good life.
We will also ensure these highly skilled local teams are supported by confident leaders and agile central teams and everyone has access to great data, modern technology, and efficient processes to use our resources effectively.
Being Local is designed to further strengthen our organisation and ensure financial resilience as we continue to navigate social care sector challenges. By continuing to invest in the development and engagement with our colleagues, who have been instrumental in creating a genuinely positive and productive organisational culture, we can confidently move forward together to achieve our three ambitions.
