Thanks to Kilburn and Strode’s Innovation for all Foundation
Certitude were one of 150 applicants to this year’s Innovation for all Foundation which awards grants to a number of charities for innovative projects that are providing ‘Innovation for Good’.
We came second in a staff vote and were awarded £20,000 for our project where we plan to purchase a variety of bikes suited to the physical needs of the people we support.
To give something back, we donate a percentage of our annual profits to our charity Fund, the Innovation For All Foundation. The Fund’s theme is ‘Innovation for good’, and its objective is ‘through innovation, to sustainably provide benefit for those in need’. Together, we can have a lasting, positive impact.
Many people we support have expressed an interest in cycling, but because some do not have the fine motor skills or the physical strength required to exercise independently, this is only possible with innovations like Side-by-Side Tandem bikes. Thanks to this generous funding we will be able to support more people to remain active and enjoy the great green spaces around London.
