ADHD Awareness Month

October marks ‘ADHD Awareness Month’, a dedicated time to increase our understanding, acceptance, and support for people with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).

It’s an opportunity to shed light on the realities of living with ADHD, a condition that affects millions of people worldwide, and approximately 4% of adults in the UK.

Raising awareness encourages better support systems, improved access to diagnosis and treatment, and enhances the overall quality of life for colleagues with ADHD working at Certitude. An action plan is currently being approved to ensure Certitude as an organisation can continue to attract, retain, support and develop neurodivergent colleagues.

Given our strategic purpose and expertise at Certitude, we are in a good position to ensure we are a great employer of neurodivergent people including those with ADHD. Sharing our stories and resources helps to dispel common myths and promote a more inclusive society where neurodiversity is recognised and celebrated.
