Certitude has finalists in two regional categories of this year's Great British Care Awards

Congratulations to the Olaide Akintola and the Treat Me Right! Team who are both regional finalists in this year’s Great British Care Awards which take place in London on the 16 November.

Olaide has been shortlisted for the Frontline Leaders Award which recognises people who demonstrate a clear commitment to improving the delivery of care and support within their team; showing leadership qualities and reflecting on what could be better and supporting others to bring about change.

Olaide said he really appreciates his nomination adding “It is an honour for me and I do not take it for granted”.

The Treat Me Right Team have been shortlisted for the Coproduction Award, which celebrates innovative practices that prioritise people’s voices in shaping and delivering support.

Berge, who has been a Treat Me Right! team member since 2008, says much of their success is down to their manager Helen “She is an amazing woman who supports me and others to share our ideas and experiences and to challenge people where necessary.”

Berge will join teammates Anne and Helen alongside Olaide to find out if they win at the ceremony in London next month.

The London event is one of ten regional Great British Care Awards that take place before the National Awards Final Ceremony which will be in Birmingham in March 2025.
