Our Board
Certitude is governed by a Board of Trustees which meets on a regular basis, defining the strategic direction of the organisation and offering support and guidance to the Leadership Team.
In addition to the full Board, committees are held which focus on HR, finance, housing, digital, quality and performance and audit and risk management. The day-to-day operations of the Certitude group are managed by the Leadership Team who are accountable to the Board.
Scott Greenhalgh
Chair of the Certitude Board, Chair of the Remuneration Committee, Chair of the Nominations Committee, Vice Chair of the Finance, Housing and Development Committee
Scott is an experienced Chair, Board member and investor, has worked extensively across the for-profit and not-for-profit sectors and serves as Trustee of a number of charities. He was also the inaugural Executive Chair of the UK’s first long-term social impact investment fund, a former non-executive director of Shaw Healthcare and a former England Committee member of the National Lottery Community Fund, where he oversaw the £210m early years programme A Better Start.
Yinka Balogun
Vice Chair of the Certitude Board, Chair of the Support for Living Board
Yinka is a seasoned development finance adviser with over 20 years of experience in managing consultancy projects focused on implementing infrastructure initiatives and driving organisational change. He has also gained valuable expertise as a management consultant at leading firms such as PwC, Atos, and BAE Systems, where he advised clients on business planning and strategic transformation.
As the lead development finance consultant for the UK Nigeria Infrastructure Advisory Facility, a programme backed by the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office, Yinka played a pivotal role in supporting energy access and infrastructure development in Nigeria.
Adebayo Emanuel
Chair of the Southside Partnership Board, Vice Chair of the Support for Living Board, Vice Chair of the Quality, Performance & Compliance Committee, Vice Chair of the Audit & Risk Assurance Committee
Bayo has over 20 years of experience managing training, employment and business support projects. Bayo has also held various non-executive director positions, including ten years’ experience on the Boards of Catalyst Housing Association and Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust. Bayo feels passionately about the need for continuous improvement in mental health and community wellbeing.
Sola Fadojutimi
Chair of the Transformation Advisory Committee, Vice Chair of the Yarrow Board
Sola is a management consultant who works for RSM Advisory Services. He has over 25 years in helping organisations deliver complex projects and programmes of change. Sola spent the first part of his career delivering projects and programmes in central government. Sola has also worked at Ernst and Young leading commercial and contract management change assignments and at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Sola is a member of the Association for Project Management’s special interest group on systems thinking. He is also a guest lecturer at University College London on the systems engineering commercial training programme.
Adelaide Forbes
Member of the People & OD Committee
Adelaide is an insightful People Leader with a proven track record of developing smart people strategies to boost business growth in ever-changing environments. Her experience across a range of sectors, including Retail, Financial Services, Technology and the Built environment, demonstrate her passion for innovation, a proactive approach and a commitment to inclusion.
Adelaide is the Group People Director of a privately-owned global facilities management and workplace experience organisation which is trusted by some of the world’s most iconic brands to provide facilities management, facilities management consultancy and helpdesk services to clients across 46 countries. She has recently led the people change programme for a management buy-out, implementing HR digital systems, and modernising people initiatives to enhance the colleague engagement experience.
Professor Sally Glen
Chair of the Quality, Performance & Compliance Committee, Vice Chair of the Southside Partnership Board
Sally is an academic and a registered nurse. Her research interests are health and social care ethics and the education of health and social care workers. She currently works at the University of Greenwich. Sally has held several executive level posts in higher education and NHS non-executive director posts. She is currently a Non-Executive Director at West Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust and Chairs the Quality Assurance Committee and is a member of the Audit Committee.
Sally is also a Trustee of the Cassel Hospital, a therapeutic community for people living with complex trauma and personality disorder and Chair of Trustees at Metanoia Institute, a Higher Education Institute specialising in the training of Psychotherapists and Counsellors.
Sally is a Governor at a Hackney Primary School where she is Vice Chair and has lead responsibility for Safeguarding, Special Educational Needs and Behaviour. Sally is also a Samaritan Listener and Outreach Listener.
Louise Graham-Smith
Member of the Finance, Housing & Development Committee, Member of the Audit & Risk Assurance Committee
Louise is a housing professional with a background in asset and housing management. She currently works for a national housing association, Accent Group, where she fulfils the role of Director of Housing Services. She is also the Vice Chair of a G320 Housing Association based in East London. Throughout her career, Louise has been dedicated to delivering high-quality services that are informed by the needs and experiences of residents. Her approach is rooted in the belief that the best services are those shaped by the people who use them. She holds a RICS accredited master’s degree in building surveying as well as a postgraduate certificate in housing studies and a bachelor's degree in social policy and criminology. Louise is currently furthering her education by studying for an MBA.
Michael Mowlem
Chair of the Finance, Housing & Development Committee
Michael is an experienced investor in businesses including in the health & social care sector. In a career spanning 35 years, principally within private equity, he spent half of this with Legal & General Group plc, investing on behalf of pension funds and long-term life assurance funds in a range of UK-based companies.
Michael brings to Certitude years of experience of acting as a non-executive director and knowledge of best practice governance in private companies as well as experience as Chair of the Trustee board at artsdepot, a community arts centre in north London.
Mike Smith
Vice Chair of the Transformation Advisory Committee
Mike has worked in the care sector for over 14 years having started his career in retail, where he held various senior operations roles. Since leaving retail in 2009 Mike has worked for a number of Older Person care providers and has recently taken up post as CEO of Advinia Healthcare which cares for 3000 people requiring nursing, dementia and residential care across the UK and employs 3500 people.
John Turner
Chair of the Yarrow Board, Chair of the Audit & Risk Assurance Committee
John Turner is a Chartered Accountant and former Managing Director at an international investment bank. Since retiring from full-time employment three years ago, he has redeployed his skills in the not-for-profit sector.
John joined the Board of Yarrow Housing in 2017 and the Certitude Board following the merger with Yarrow. He is a Trustee and Treasurer of the Institute of Physics and Engineering in Medicine, an international development charity (The Just a Drop Appeal), a medical charity (British Association for Performance Arts Medicine), and consults for two further not-for-profit organisations.
Susie Young
Chair of the People & OD Committee
Susie is a people and organisational development specialist with over 20 years’ experience as a Management Consultant supporting both health and private sector organisations. She is passionate about creating organisations where people thrive and have a strong sense of purpose.
Prodromos Sarigianis
Co-optee, Transformation Advisory Committee, Co-optee Finance, Housing & Development Committee
Prod has more than 20 years’ experience as an IT Manager. He has worked directly with two London boroughs and also the Local Government Association. He has a technical support, business/process management and change management background.
He brings strong skills across IT, shared services and also brings the experience of sitting on a local authority Digital Strategy Board.
Jo Orr
Co-optee, People & OD Committee
Jo is an Organisational Development & Change Leader with over 20 years experience in the private sector. She works with executives, senior leaders and their teams to drive organisational change through people by building the skills, habits and mindsets individuals need to succeed.
With a background in working in regulated environments, she brings with her a wealth of experience in people change transformation, culture change, employee engagement, leadership & capability development and change management. Jo is passionate about building purpose-built organisations where people are encouraged to thrive.
