Every June London comes alive with one of the biggest Parades in Europe to celebrate LGBTQ+ love and friendship. And this year Certitude is joining the parade!
Pride month resonates strongly with our values here at Certitude - Being proud of who we all are and having the freedom to be ourselves. If you’ve never been to London Pride before you can watch a video of the 2023 Parade here.
This year, the Pride in London event is on the 29 June and falls within Pride Month which is a fantastic time to remember just how far LGBTQ+ rights have come. Pride Month is held in June to commemorate the Stonewall riots in 1969 which marked the beginning of the gay rights movement. It’s also an opportunity to reflect on the things we still need to do to for LGBTQ+ equality here in the UK and around the world.
We’ll be joining the Pride in London parade together with our More Than A Provider partners Choice Support as well as Rainbow Friends London, a social group for people with learning disabilities who identify as LGBTQ+.
We have 20- 25 spaces reserved for Certitude colleagues, people we support and their friends to be part of this much-loved celebratory parade.
We’d love for you to show you support and join us in the parade by booking your space here. After booking we will follow up in the coming months with more details as soon as we have all our spaces booked.

How can I book a space?
Just use this link to book a space.
Can I bring someone with me.
Yes you can. This is a Saturday event so bring a friend or a family member, just remember that you will need to book them a space too.
I’m supported by Certitude, can I join the parade?
Yes. If you need support to do this, please work with your team to make this happen.
I do not identify as LGBTQ+ can I join the parade?
Yes. LGBTQ+ allies are all welcome.
What time will we meet?
We’ll aim to all meet in a location near to the start of the walk at around 11am so that you can get your Certitude t-shirt on, glitter up and put on any rainbow accessories before we take some group photos.
What time will the parade start?
We have asked for a 1pm slot to join the parade which usually sets off around 2pm.
What time will the parade finish?
Usually, you are in the parade for about one and a half hours.
