The support provided here is Registered Care for adults and is suitable for people with learning disabilities who also have physical disabilities. The majority of people who live here communicate non-verbally using Makaton and other visual cues. The team provides 24-hour support including waking night support shared with the house next door. All support is tailored around the person, with the team adapting their skills and training to meet each person’s needs and goals.
This large, purpose-built and accessible house for eight people is in a residential cul-de-sac in Perivale, Ealing. It has two floors with a large lounge, a dining room which sits 10 people, a large garden accessed through the lounge and a laundry room. The ground floor has five bedrooms, four of which are fully accessible with interconnected accessible bathrooms and the fifth has an en-suite bathroom. The first floor has a further three bedrooms and two bathrooms with a toilet and shower. There are stairs and a lift to the first floor with room for a wheelchair and another person.

The house has a warm and sociable atmosphere and people who live here have a wide range of interests including listening to music, knitting, cooking, going to the cinema or theatre, shopping and going out for meals. Family and friends visit regularly, join their loved ones for lunch and just hang out.
Some people attend the nearby Activity and Resource Centre, run by Certitude, where they spent time with friends as well as being busy with painting, cooking, dancing and gardening. Meals are prepared by our talented cook who creates meals that meet each person’s dietary needs.
The area has great transport links with several buses, Central line and overground trains all within walking distance. The house is close to Perivale Park, which has a lovely café and lots of sports facilities, including golf, football, basketball and tennis. The nearby leisure centre has a gym, swimming pool and other indoor activities. There are shops on Ruislip Road which is a few minutes away.
